Have you ever dreamt of a Safari Volunteer Working Holiday in South Africa?
We have put together a portfolio of hand-picked Safari Game Lodges and Wildlife research projects that you will have the opportunity to be a part of for 1 – 3 months.
The best part – they will provide you with food, accommodation, laundry and most of them with game drives during your stay.
You will have amazing wildlife photographic opportunities, and get to make new friends. You will acquire experience in the hospitality industry and get an insight into what it’s like to be a Safari guide in the bush. We will arrange your transfers to and from the Airport to the safari lodge, and you will be assigned to a facilitator in South Africa who will be your consultant during your stay.
From Safari Lodges to Horse-riding lodges to Wildlife research projects, your adventure awaits!
For a small placement fee, we will team you up with the best suited Game Lodge and facilitate your stay!

“Completely fantastic”

My son’s 3 months at the chosen Big 5 game lodge were completely fantastic. He had the most incredible adventure and has gained so much experience from his time there. It was very reassuring knowing that Taryn was on hand to help with any problems or queries. I would recommend her agency very highly.”

“One of the best things I have ever done”

Following graduation from Newcastle University I spent four months working at a horseback safaris operation in the Waterberg, South Africa. Nearly seven years later I still look back at my time there as one of the best things I have ever done and I regularly reflect back to the misty mornings in the bush as if it were yesterday. The photos I captured also continue to prompt memories of an exceptionally happy and formative part of my life. I leaned a great deal about the ecosystems and working with people, gaining a perspective that would be hard to nurture elsewhere. The opportunity to work alongside amazing people and animals in such a peaceful environment is a privilege that I will always be grateful for.”

“A Trip I will never forget”
I chose to go on a volunteer program during a school vacation. While travelling alone in a foreign country seemed crazy, every step was planned out and every stop was made possible by Taryn, who was truly a miracle worker. My time at the wildlife reserve volunteering taught me so much and also made me more independent. Passionate about nature, I discovered what it was like to work in that field, with amazing people! It was a trip I will never forget! “

“I Made friends for life”
Going on a working holiday in South Africa is an experience not to be missed. I can safely say that I made friends for life and am counting the days until the return trip. From the inspiring people to the incredible landscape and the diverse wildlife, you’re bound to find something which catches your imagination and makes you not want to leave. “
